Web Application Development

Browser-based systems for your team, your customers or both — portals, internal tools and operations platforms, with sign-in and roles that fit how you work.

Most web applications we build replace the same two things: a spreadsheet that outgrew itself years ago, or a handful of tools that do not talk to each other and get reconciled by hand every week. The test is simple. If someone re-keys the same information into a second place, or the answer to “where are we on that?” lives in one person’s head, there is a web application worth building.

What we build

  • The work you already do, in one place

Scheduling, quoting, inventory, requests, internal forms — types of tool rather than a fixed menu. The shape comes from your process, not from a product someone else designed.

  • Sign-in and roles that fit how you work

Accounts, and permission that can be granted over one area instead of everything — the same model already running in the St. Reweis project.

  • One set of data behind web and app

Where a project needs both, one database sits behind them, so a change made on either side is the same change. That is shipped work, not a diagram.

  • Customer and member portals

Somewhere the people you serve can see their own documents, forms or schedule without emailing you to ask.

A good fit, and not a fit

Worth a conversation

  • A process you can point to — the spreadsheet, the email chain or the workaround your team repeats every week.
  • An established business, where the people who feel the problem can get the person who decides into the conversation.
  • You want the system built properly AND looked after once it is running.

Not what we do

  • Replacing an ERP, an accounting package or a clinical record system outright. We build around those, not instead of them.
  • A ten-day miracle app. Work that size takes longer than that, and we would rather say so now than halfway through.
  • Staff augmentation for a large in-house team. PiTech scopes, builds and maintains whole projects; it does not rent out developers.
  • “We need AI” with no problem attached to it yet. Bring the problem and we can talk about whether it needs AI at all.

How the work runs

  1. 01 Free consultation Free · about 30 minutes

Show us the workflow or the problem. We ask questions and tell you whether custom software is worth exploring — or whether something simpler would do.

  2. 02 Discovery, when needed Paid · agreed in advance

Larger or less certain projects start here. We map the workflow properly and write it up as a specification: what the system does, for whom, how it connects and in what phases. Its scope, deliverables and fee are agreed before it starts, and you keep the specification whether or not we build it.

  3. 03 Proposal & agreed build Quoted against the scope

A clear written proposal: what will be built, in what phases, by when and for how much. Once it is agreed, the figure you approve is the figure you pay; anything new is quoted separately rather than absorbed quietly into the timeline.

  4. 04 Launch & ongoing support Optional

After launch we can host and maintain it — updates, security patches, store submissions and changes as your business moves — or deploy it to a cloud account you own. Support is optional, and you can stop it whenever it stops being worth paying for.

What a paid discovery can cover

  • Workflow mapping
  • Requirements
  • User roles and permissions
  • Integrations
  • Technical architecture
  • UX planning
  • Scope and project phases
  • Estimated timeline
  • Budget
  • A written specification you keep

What this is not: a multi-tenant SaaS product, or a replacement for the ERP your whole company runs on. It is a focused system for one business, built so the process fits you rather than the other way round. Around Tampa Bay I can come to you to work out what it actually has to do; everywhere else, the same work happens over a screen share.

A short conversation, no charge. We’ll tell you plainly whether this is what you need — and if it isn’t, what would serve you better.

You’ll hear directly from PiTech, typically the same business day.
